Although New Year’s resolutions can take many different forms, they are all focused on making positive changes in your life.

1. Start with small goals
Although you may be inspired and enthusiastic about your objective, avoid letting your ambition push you to impossibly high standards. Start gently and consistently so that your body gets acclimated to it if you want to try a new exercise; don’t commit to doing it five times per week.
